Artist/Educator from Utah
I currently work and live in Spanish Fork, Utah with my lovely wife Robyn and my three intrepid children.
I recently defended my doctoral dissertation at Concordia University in Montreal in the Dept of Art Education under the most excellent tutelage of Dr. Juan Carlos Castro. The title of my research is “Rethinking and remaking a high school art foundations curriculum.”
I teach visual arts classes full time at Maple Mountain High School, engage with teenagers daily and still haven’t figured it out. I also teach/supervise undergraduate art education students at some local universities from time to time.
I like making stuff and talking to interesting people. I like record stores and pruning fruit trees.
